The recreation town «Pearl» is located 20 km from the city of Vladivostok on the shore of Lazurnaya Bay (Shamora).
Shamora Bay is located in one of the most picturesque places in Primorye - Ussuri Bay, Sea of Japan. Green wooded hills seem to separate the bay from the rest of the world. Rocky capes Zeleny and Krutoy, cutting with their edges into the bay, clear water and soft sandy beaches. The unique, fantastically beautiful landscape of the bay makes it a favorite vacation spot for residents and guests of the city of Vladivostok. Shamora is the old name of Lazurnaya Bay, but the new name stuck only on maps and documents. For people, their favorite is called the same as in the old days: Shamora, which in translation from Chinese means «sandy desert».
